About the conference
ICIAP 2027 is the 24th edition of the biennial International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing, organised by CVPL, the Italian member society of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). The 2027 edition is hosted in Modena by AImageLab, the computer vision and multimedia research laboratory of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
Since 1980 ICIAP has brought together researchers and practitioners working on classic and emerging topics in computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning and image processing, covering both theoretical foundations and applications. The programme is structured around oral and poster sessions, invited lectures by internationally recognised speakers, and a set of workshops and tutorials held alongside the main conference.
Accepted papers of previous editions were published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series; publication arrangements for 2027 will be confirmed together with the full call for papers.
