Call for Papers

Scope

ICIAP 2027 invites high-quality original contributions on all aspects of image analysis and processing, computer vision, pattern recognition and machine learning. Both theoretical advances and application-driven work are welcome, as are contributions that bridge the two.

Papers must be original, unpublished and not under review elsewhere at the time of submission. Each accepted paper is expected to be presented at the conference by one of its authors, and at least one author must complete a full registration.

Submission guidelines

Detailed instructions will accompany the opening of the submission system. Based on recent editions, authors should anticipate the following; every item is subject to confirmation:

Format — Springer LNCS style, single-column. To be confirmed.
Length — a fixed page limit including figures and tables, with references excluded. To be confirmed.
Anonymity — the review model (double-blind or single-blind) will be stated in the final call. To be confirmed.
Submission system — an online conference management system; the link will be published here. To be confirmed.
Supplementary material — policy and size limits to be announced. To be confirmed.
Language — all submissions must be written in English.

Review process

Following the practice of recent editions, ICIAP 2027 is expected to run submissions in two rounds, so that authors have a second opportunity to submit new work or revised manuscripts. Each submission is peer reviewed by members of the program committee; the program chairs make the final decision on acceptance and on the assignment of papers to oral or poster sessions.

Publication

Proceedings of previous ICIAP editions have been published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series, with workshop proceedings published as separate volumes. Publication arrangements for ICIAP 2027 will be announced with the final call.

Workshops, tutorials and special sessions

Separate calls will be issued for workshop, tutorial and special session proposals. These events take place alongside the main conference. Proposers should watch the program page for the corresponding deadlines.
